INTRODUCTION

The spirit of Venice is alive in The Venetian resort, complete with canals, gondolas and strolling performers. The hotel offers spacious, beautifully appointed suites, gourmet restaurants and an upscale mall.

A detailed, exquisite fresco covers the arched ceiling leading from registration into the casino, promising great things. And those things are delivered in short order - a wealth of shopping experiences in the 500,000 square-foot Grand Canal Shoppes, which, true to its name, has a canal winding through it with gondolas drifting elegantly along its length; a number of five-star restaurants, created by such culinary giants as Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse, Joachim Splichal and Paulo "Zeffirino" Belloni; a version of Madame Tussaud's famous wax museum and much more.

The pool is open daily from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm. In addition to towel services, we also provide our guests with cocktails. The elegant poolside Solaro Cafe (from Wolfgang Puck's Postrio) serves a wide variety of gourmet burgers, salads, pizza, specialized cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and offers Venetian souvenir glasses.

At the retail shop located at the entrance of the pool you will find magazines, swim suits, suntan lotion, sunglasses and other basic all around munchies. The store also offers rafts and various floatation items for rent.

CABANAS - Private cabanas are available poolside for guests of the Venetian on the weekdays from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and on the weekends from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm. Cabana accommodates up to eight people and provides such services as:

GUGGENHEIM HERMITAGE - The Guggenheim Hermitage Museum was conceived as a venue for the presentation of exhibitions based on the collections of the Guggenheim and Hermitage museums. All programming is generated by the directors and curatorial staffs of the Guggenheim and Hermitage museums. Exhibitions change approximately twice a year.

AMERICAN POP ICONS - The third exhibition at the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum opening May 15, 2003 presents a selection of twenty-nine works of art that trace the origins of the Pop Art movement from practical beginnings as commercial and consumer imagery to the full-scale celebrity of the genre, as achieved by Andy Warhol’s Factory.

DELMONICO STEAKHOUSE - Owned and operated by colorful celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse, Delmonico Steakhouse delivers exciting New Orleans-style cuisine with a unique flair only Chef Lagasse can offer. POSTRIO - America's most celebrated chef, Wolfgang Puck, has brought his award-winning San Francisco restaurant, Postrio, to the Grand Canal Shoppes. Wolfgang and 10 year veteran Chef John LaGrone's diverse menu of contemporary American cuisine features outstanding Steaks, Seafood and Italian Pastas and Pizzas. Only the finest quality and freshest ingredients are used to produce popular items such as the 24 oz. Grilled Bone-in Rib Eye Steak or Lobster Club Sandwich. LUTÉCE - In the world of fine dining, Lutèce has been the icon for more than thirty years. With the opening of its second location you can now indulge in the delicacies of the famed New York restaurant right here in the Venetian. At Lutéce you will experience the finest in French cuisine delicately woven together with exquisite presentation, contemporary décor and impeccable service. They have created a modern approach to classical French traditions, such as sautéed foie gras with chocolate sauce, orange marmalade and aged Black Angus sirloin with potato "au four", crispy salad, maitake mushrooms. Complementing the innovative menu is an equally tantalizing wine cellar, featuring selections from top producers with an emphasis on French and American vintages. VALENTINO - Celebrity restaurateur and James Beard award-winner Piero Selvaggio showcases the finest Italian cuisine and hospitality in a remarkable setting. Peruse the Wine Spectator's "Grand Award" -winning wine list with over 24,000 bottles of wine featuring the greatest selection from wine regions all over the world compiled by general manager Arturo Nieto. The menu changes seasonally with many ingredients imported directly from Italy. With an emphasis on quality only the freshest of ingredients are used to create contemporary Italian cuisine that revisits and reinvigorates traditional recipes. PINOT BRASSERIE - Pinot Brasserie is an award-winning French/Californian Bistro featuring a complete Oyster Bar. Chef Splichal has spared no detail in order to capture the very essence and spirit of a true urban brasserie. It offers mouth-watering steaks, slow-roasted poultry, tangy pastas, delicious seafood and hearty wild game. An impressive wine list is complemented with a host of liquors, from grappa to single malt scotches, and dessert wines to ports. The restaurant's rich, yet casual, French bistro setting is accented with pieces imported directly from France…right down to the weathered, cast-iron rooster that stands at the entry. ROYAL STAR - Las Vegas has learned what Los Angeles knew years before - World-renowned Restaurateur Kevin Wu delivers the best Pan-Asian cuisine anywhere! Royal Star's landmark menu creations know no boundaries…borrowing the best flavors and techniques from all regions of China. If you have a taste for fresh seafood, the crab, lobster, fish, prawns and shrimp served at Royal Star are taken from a live tank and cooked to perfection. AquaKnox - Opening Fall 2003, AquaKnox will round out the cast of impressive restaurants featured on Restaurant Row. Celebrated Chef Tom Moloney's menu will set a new standard of culinary excellence, boasting fresh seafood flown in daily from around the world including stone crab claws and a superb “raw bar”. Additional offerings include a selection of caviar with traditional garnishes, butternut squash soup with duck confit & apple compote, grilled lobster with drawn herb butter, and pan seared filet mignon with truffle aioli.


ZEFFIRINO RISTORANTE - Chef Gian Paulo "Zeffirino" Belloni invites you to taste his finest Italian seafood dishes so authentic that, if you visit the kitchen, you'll have to speak Italian. Trafie al Pesto, Genovese, Astice alla Zeffirino and Costata di Vitello alle Griglia are only a handful of the dishes available. Constantly striving for quality and authenticity, Zeffirino's imports many of its ingredients from Italy and bakes its breads on premises. Highlight your meal with any of Zeffirino's exclusive vintages from California and Italy. The cellar features a selection of more than 300 wines, plus a special Captain's List. One of the most striking restaurants at the Venetian, the décor at Zeffirino's is sophisticated, elegant and authentic. Everything, from its handcrafted Italian bar to its wine cases to its furniture, is Venetian in style, capturing the city's romantic essence. Your dining experience at Zeffirino's includes interior and al fresco-style seating with views of gondolas passing by in the Grand Canal.

P.S. ITALIAN GRILL - The grilled pizzas are a definite must try, however, you can enjoy an array of traditional Italian foods including fresh salads and pastas, veal, T-bone steak flavored with rosemary, the famous three meat lasagna or shrimp and calamari skewers. Because food is really only half of a truly rewarding and traditional Italian meal, the Grill also features 40 wines available by the glass, by the bottle or in 2-ounce pours for the wine connoisseur or the merely curious.

GRAND LUX CAFÉ - Grand Lux Café, like its sister restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory, fulfills any hunger. Choose from breakfast items, appetizers, pizza, seafood, steaks, burgers, chicken, specialty items, pasta, salads, sandwiches and over 20 fabulous desserts! The wine list is equally eclectic, including selections from all regions. Dine in or place a to-go order at our retail bakery featuring coffee drinks, pastries, cheesecakes and a variety of Grand Lux-themed merchandise. Although Grand Lux Café can accommodate up to 550 people, its design is both intricate and intimate. The architecture and décor of Grand Lux Café was inspired by the look and feel of classic Venetian cafés with up to 100 seats available for private dining.

CANALETTO - A master of the rotisserie and grill, Chef Luigi Bomparola recreates the unique flavors of Venice drawing from his extensive knowledge and repertoire of regional recipes. Complement your meal with a variety of fresh breads baked throughout the day at Il Fornaio's nearby bakery and a bottle of wine from Canaletto's list of distinctive vintages. The restaurant's architecture is as remarkable as its food with 16-foot ceilings rising above polished hardwood floors and a glorious exhibition kitchen. Upstairs, five distinct private rooms, for groups as small as 6 or as large as 175 - offer breathtaking views of the Grand Canal and gondolas passing below. TSUNAMI ASIAN GRILL - Affordably priced, the menu includes appetizers such as Sake Steamed Mussels and salads like the Blackened Ahi Tataki flash-seared with red chili seasoning. Just as interesting as the dishes, however, is the unique way in which they're prepared. For your entrée, consider their smoked oolong duck, slow-roasted with black tea leaves and seasoned with star anise scallions, fresh ginger and a five-spice chili plum sauce. You'll also find a host of noodle and rice dishes available along with Las Vegas' best traditional Sushi, Makimono and Nigiri. A variety of wines, beer and specialty infusion cocktails are offered as well as an extensive offering of sake. A unique spirit is reflected in the restaurant's design by architect Thom Mayne. The walls display haunting images of a woman dissolving and disappearing into waves of Asian imagery by artist Rebecca Méndez.

TEQUERIA CAÑONITA - This inspired eatery takes the flavors of Old Mexico and serves them with an exciting, New American ambiance-all beside the gracefully flowing Grand Canal. Experience true "south of the border" taste and tradition with authentic Mexican offerings like chile rellenos, tacos al carbon or shrimp quesadillas. The taste of their hand-made corn tortillas alone is enough to transport you to another world. The décor is as vivid as the menu with casual ambiance, high ceiling and bright, bold colors. Taqueria Cañonita's lively exhibition kitchen is the restaurant's centerpiece. Enjoy your meal amidst the sculpted steel and wrought-iron gates, colorful Mexican tiles and authentic Mexican folk art. Even better, Taqueria Cañonita's patio is set beside the Grand Canal, offering terrific views of our Venetian streetscapes and passing gondolas.

NOODLE ASIA - The menu features large portions of noodle dishes, vegetarian specialties, rice and congee dishes and soups. Choose from oriental favorites such as BBQ pork and roast duck noodles in broth, Singapore vermicelli, shrimp fried rice as well as other fried noodle specialties with vegetable, seafood, beef and chicken. Widely known for his acclaimed Royal Star Seafood Restaurant in Santa Monica, California, Kevin Wu has created an inviting area with Noodle Asia where people can enjoy a quick meal in a social setting.

CANYON RANCH CAFÉ - Where good taste and good nutrition are a perfect combination. Their brand of "Spa Cuisine" is known for its impeccable gourmet and nutritional standards. From Asia to the Mediterranean, Chef Frank Cañez at Canyon Ranch Café has been inspired by the world's most delicious and healthy cuisine.   Relax. Unwind. Entertain. All without ever leaving one of these elegant and flexible 1,500 sq. ft. suites, located on the 34th through 36th floors. VENEZIA SUITES

Upon entering their suite, guests will immediately notice that the accommodations are more expansive than typical hotel rooms – even those in the first phase of The Venetian. The guest accommodations make an impressive impact with their upgraded designs and decorations in rich tones and fabrics. Venezia suites will average 700 sq. ft., roughly double the size of the typical Las Vegas hotel room, and feature unprecedented nine foot high ceilings. Complete with a spacious plush, private bedchamber with draped canopies, the suites also feature an oversized 130 sq. ft. bathroom finished in Italian marble, and a sunken living room area. Each suite is honed with fine craftsmanship, impeccable taste, unmatched quality and uncompromising dedication to detail.

Concierge Level Suites

As an exclusive facility within The Venetian, Venezia will grant guests a separate environment and a distinctive experience. The top five floors on the west side of the building (Las Vegas Boulevard) will include 122 suites; a majority of them overlooking the Strip; the others overlooking the tower’s private pool deck. These suites come complete with concierge-level services, including quarters of unsurpassed spaciousness, thoughtfulness and taste.
