INTRODUCTION

The Sahara Hotel and Casino opened its doors in 1952 and quickly became one of Las Vegas' most exciting destinations. Featuring the era's most celebrated performers, including Ann-Margret, Johnny Carson and Tina Turner, the Sahara set the standard in Las Vegas growing entertainment scene. The Sahara blazed new ground by inviting the Beatles to Las Vegas for the very first time.

The Sahara offers 1,720 guestrooms and suites decorated in a Moroccan motif. The spacious rooms include comfortable accommodations and a variety of television-viewing options. Luxurious suites are available in mini, one, and two bedroom models. Accommodations for physically challenged guests are also available.

Room service is available from 6am until midnight, daily. The Sahara also offers catering services for events such as weddings, birthdays and receptions.

In the heart of our property, we have a sparkling 5,000 square foot pool featuring 13 private cabanas, circular fountains, a gazebo-covered spa and a snack bar that offers tropical refreshments. The pool is open daily throughout the summer. The spa is open year round throughout the summer.

Live entertainment can be found by visiting the Casbar Lounge and the Congo Room.

Destination Salon and Spa - Destination Salon is a full service salon and spa that specializes in pampering the guests of the Sahara Hotel and Casino. We provide a variety of salon and spa services and professional retail products.

Business Center - When you are at a convention your business must go on. The Business Center enables you to conduct business away from your staff. We are located in the Sahara Hotel within easy walking distance to your room or convention location. [The Business Center is open Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm]

Dollar Rent A Car - Whether you're off for a weekend of fun, an extended vacation, or a serious business meeting, Dollar Rent A Car has a variety of vehicles to suit your needs at the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport or at the Sahara Hotel and Casino! From compact cars to SUV's to luxury vehicles, Dollar has something for everyone.

Casino: The Moroccan-themed casino floor has been expanded to 85,000 square feet and features 26 crystal chandeliers, stained glass and patterned mosaic tiles. The casino includes a card room, keno lounge and race and sports book.

This 900-seat buffet is located within a casual setting with multiple carving and serving stations.

Weekday Hours : Weekday brunch is served from 7:00am until 3:00pm Monday-Friday. Dinner is served from 4:00pm until 10:00pm Monday-Sunday.

Weekend Hours : The Sahara Champagne Brunch is served from 8:00am until 3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday however, the menu varies on Saturday and Sunday.

•   NASCAR CAFE
[The NASCAR Cafe is located on the 1st and 2nd floor. The main dining room is located on the 2nd floor and the bar is located on the 1st floor.]

The NASCAR Cafe offers a unique entertainment and dining experience located on two levels. This 400-seat NASCAR Cafe features exciting stock car racing entertainment. The cafe includes giant projection television screens equipped with surround sound featuring NASCAR racing, the latest NASCAR news and authentic NASCAR merchandise. The Cafe displays nearly 20 authentic NASCAR stock cars and is founded on two levels.

The Cafe features the Carzilla Bar, the world's largest stock car, a Pontiac Grand Prix that weighs more than three tons. It measures 34 feet long and 12 feet wide and is mounted on a platform. Carzilla was designed by Bob Campbell, who designed for Dale Earnhardt.

•   PACO'S BAR & GRILL

The Sahara goes south of the border with authentic traditional Mexican fare and contemporary coastal specialties. Paco's Bar & Grill is open daily from 5:00pm until 11pm.

Paco's Bar & Grill features traditional Mexican dishes ranging from fresh fish and shrimp entrees, chicken, beef and pork dinners as well as traditional entrees and combination platters.

You can also enjoy a variety of cocktails and specialty drinks, including our own version of the classic Margarita.

•   HOUSE OF LORDS
[The House of Lords steakhouse is located on the casino floor.]

The tradition of legendary dining is at the Sahara Hotel and Casino’s House of Lords steakhouse. In an elegant setting, the House of Lords steak house offers tantalizing menu selections as well as a high standard of service all within an intimate dining atmosphere. Beautiful waterfalls and plush seating highlight the cozy ambiance of the House of Lords steakhouse, located adjacent to the Sahara’s casino.

The House of Lords steakhouse is open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., Sunday through Saturday, and can accommodate up to 100 people for private parties.

•   CARAVAN CAFÉ

The Caravan Café serves as a relaxing place to come when you just need a break from all the excitement!

Whether you're in need of some delicious coffee to help you stay awake on those late nights or a little something to satisfy those hunger pangs, we are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to serve you.

DELUXE ROOM - The deluxe rooms are located in the Tangiers Towers and total 1,108 rooms. Each room is equipped with an individually controlled heating and cooling system. You can choose between a king size bed or two double beds, depending on availability. Also included in the bathroom is a hair dryer. We also have a large percentage of non-smoking rooms available. Additionally, there are ice and soda machines located on each floor. Rooms with great views are based upon availability.

SUITES - Suites are located in our Tangiers or Alexandria Tower and are geared towards business travelers or luxurious tastes. Suites have a comfortable parlor area; ideal for small meetings, entertaining guests or television viewing. Parlors are connected to the master bedroom. The master bedroom comes with a king size bed. Some suites include balcony access and offer spectacular views.
