and Receptions - We have a 2000 square foot banquet room which
will accommodate parties of up to 100 people. Contact our Catering
Department for pricing and availability.
Slots - The El Cortez has long been known as "the
place to play slots." A local favorite that pays many
jackpots daily. We have over 2100 slots, varying from 25¢ through
$5.00 machines; many with progressive jackpots. We offer slots,
video poker, video keno and a wide variety of multi-game machines
The staff is very friendly and will help you with whatever you
may need.
CAREFUL KITTY'S CAFE! - Enjoy breakfast whenever you wish, 24
hours a day. We feature daily entree specials served round the
clock specials. Our extensive menu also includes great burgers and
sandwiches along with your favorite steaks, seafood and chicken
entrees.
ROBERTAS - Offering the finest Prime Rib of Beef and New
York Steaks along with a variety of beef, seafood and chicken
entrees. Our Porter House Steak special was voted #1 in the Review
Journal "Best of Las Vegas" reader poll. You'll have a

COCKTAIL LOUNGES & BARS - The El Cortez features
very popular cocktail lounges and bars located throughout the
casino area. Relax and enjoy your favorite libation anytime of the
day or night.
The El Cortez has 299 rooms, plus an additional 102 rooms located
at our Ogden House Hotel adjacent to our main tower.
King Tower Mini-Suite - Located in our newer 15-floor
Tower, this "mini-suite" comes equipped with one king
sized bed, as well as a couch, guest chairs, and coffee table.
Very large and comfortable, this room is conveniently located and
accessable by elevator, directly from the casino. Smoking or
non-smoking rooms available.
Tower Double-Double - Located in our newer 15-floor
Tower, these rooms are our most popular and most requested amongst
our regular guests. Beautifully decorated, large, and each
equipped with two double beds, our Tower rooms offer comfort and
luxury at a good price. They offer beautiful views of the famous
Las Vegas Strip on the South side, or of the majestic mountain
range on the North side. Each room has a sitting room area with
loveseat, chair and coffee table. Conveniently accessable by
elevator, directly from the casino, smoking or non-smoking rooms,
as well as handicapped equipped rooms, are available.
Main Building Double-Double - Comfortable and a great
value with two double beds, smoking or non-smoking, and very
convenient to our attached parking garage. Each room is elevator
accessable, directly from the casino.
Main Building Queen - Located in the Main Building area
of the hotel, these rooms are our "originals", built
with the casino in 1941. They have recently been completely
remodeled and refurbished to their riginal 1940's decor. Each of
these nostalgic rooms comes with one queen sized bed, smoking
only, and are accessable ONLY by stairs, directly from the casino.
